Tour Pace Descriptions

Please review the Tour Pace Descriptions below before submitting your trip registration(s):

Level 1 - Leisurely

This program offers a leisurely pace with minimal physical activity, such as climbing stairs, boarding a motor coach/cruise ship, walking within hotels &/or for a reasonable distance (less than 1 mile). Travelers with walkers, scooters, rollators should have little to no issue; Travelers with wheelchair needs must travel with a companion. NOTE: Most cruise programs are categorized as 'Leisurely', however, individually booked shore tours/excursions may have a higher pace level. Please review cruise line recommendations at the time of booking.

Level 2 - Moderate

A blend of longer & shorter touring days with average physical activity. In addition to the above, travelers should also expect walking tours at longer distances, sometimes over uneven surfaces, including stairs, &/or periods of standing, long-haul or overnight flights. NOTE: Most international programs will be less accessible for those with lower levels of independent mobility, as most international destinations do not have similar ADA laws in place.

Level 3 - Soft Adventure

A more physical touring experience, based on the destination. Travelers should expect longer walking tours, uneven surfaces with possible inclines, stair climbing, affecting weather (hot, cold, wet, windy, etc), longer periods of standing, and some nighttime activities. NOTE: 'Soft Adventure' Programs are geared towards travelers with no significant mobility restrictions.
